My background is in Design, I studied at Northumbria University achieving a BA Hons in Fashion Design. After a decade of working in the Fashion Industry as an Outerwear and Denim Designer in the United States and London, I realised I was no longer in love with my job and I wasn't feeling creatively challenged, so I decided it was time for a change.

With a love of interiors and furniture I decided to take a 'bring your own chair' evening course. It soon became a new obsession which gave me a great sense of achievement, transforming old furniture into something beautiful again. 

 

I signed up to an official course and learnt Upholstery at the CASS, London Metropolitan University with the AMUSF (The Association for Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers).  I achieved a distinction in both Level 1 and 2 which I am very proud of.

Making the move from London to Yorkshire inspired me to take the plunge to leave my job in Fashion and start my own business in Upholstery.
